Our story
Started at a kitchen table in Tauranga.
Kowhai Homewares began in 2018 when founder Aroha couldn't find beautiful, locally-made pieces for her first home. So she started working with potters, weavers and makers across Aotearoa — and a little shop was born.
Six years on, we work with over 40 NZ artisans and ship thousands of pieces to homes across the country. Everything we sell is made to be used, loved, and passed on — never thrown away.
